August 2021 Information is ready

Dear MA Families,

Action Required:

August Information is ready on the Parent Portal

Documents that are required to be returned prior to the start of school are now available on the MA Parent Portal. Please ensure all items are completed or returned (if applicable) by no later than Friday, August 27.

Please follow the instructions below to begin:

1. Login to the MA Parent Portal:

If you do not remember your username and/or password, please select ‘Forgot login or first time logging in?’ and follow the instructions to retrieve your credentials.

2. Review your child’s Classroom Bulletin Board, which is where you find the monthly newsletters during the school year.

  • Select your child’s name in the top left corner of your screen.
  • Scroll down to ‘Courses’ and select your child’s classroom. This will take you to the Classroom Bulletin Board.
  • Please review all of the information posted on your child’s classroom Bulletin Board. This includes the:
    • August Classroom Letter with Phasing-In Information for students who are new to their level or classroom
    • Sunscreen and Skin Cream Permission Form (Toddler and Casa only)
    • Online Elementary Hot Lunch and Milk Order Form (Year 1 – 6 only)

3. Submit the Online Forms

Please review the following online forms to ensure that all contact information, emergency contacts, and any medical conditions/medications for your child are up-to-date. Submission of these forms is not mandatory unless information needs to be updated.

  • Student Emergency Contacts
  • Student Medical Update
  • Permissions & Release of Information
  • Student & Parent Information Update

To begin, click the yellow banner at the top of your screen in the MA Parent Portal and select the “Review” button next to any form. Once a form has been successfully submitted, it will disappear from your list.

4.Review Items on the Resource Board

Click on ‘Resources’ at the top of your screen.  Items available on the Resource Board include:

Reminder: School Hours Changing

We will begin and end the school day 15 minutes earlier than past years.


Full-day students

  • Arrival 8:30 a.m.– 8:45 a.m.
  • Pick-Up 3:30 p.m.– 3:45 p.m.

Part-day students

  • Arrival 8:30 a.m.– 8:45 a.m.
  • Pick-Up 12:30 p.m. – 12:45 p.m.


  • Arrival 8:30 a.m.– 8:45 a.m.
  • Pick-Up 3:30 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.

Junior High

  • Arrival 8:30 a.m. – 8:45 a.m.
  • Dismissal 3:30 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.

Also: Extended Hours

Extended Hours times are changing slightly to reflect this change in our school hours.

  • Early Hours – 7:30 am – 8:30 am (or any part thereof)
    After School Hours –
    3:45 pm – 5:30 pm* (or any part thereof)
