Dear MA Families & Friends,
We would like to send a HUGE thank you to our supporters throughout the 2018-2019 school year who made contributions in the way of sponsorships and donations. We are so grateful to have a strong community of people dedicated to ensuring the success of our programming and betterment of our learning environments.
Thanks to your generosity, we have surpassed our goal for the year of $85,000 by bringing in over $92,000; the bulk of this will fund the upgrades in the Junior High kitchens and classrooms. It is a huge endeavour to make these improvements to our space! Demolition and construction work has already begun, and we are excited to watch the developments over the summer! Keep an eye on our Facebook page to watch the progress, and stay tuned for our final reveal in the fall.
Fundraising is an important part of Montessori Academy of London’s sustainability. While tuition covers more than 95% of our financial needs, we are tasked with pulling in that extra bit to ensure that our students have the best possible environment, programming and overall experience. Each year, we base our fundraising initiatives on a need for the school. The last few years have been focused on capital upgrades to our physical spaces, and next summer we plan to tackle the centre section of our Elementary location at 711 Waterloo St.
Without the support from our families, community members and alumni, we could not achieve our mission. Thank you again for all your support each year in helping to create the best possible experience for our students!
Summer Paint Night on July 25 – Register Now!
Looking for something a little different to do with the family this summer? Montessori Academy has teamed up with Keep It Colourful to create a super-fun paint night event!
On Thursday, July 25 our Elementary Courtyard will transform into an art studio where Jesse Robertson will walk you through how to create your very own rainbow ostrich. This painting is easy to do and create your own! Though the ad page mentions kids need to be 9 and up, our students’ experience from our art program makes it an option to bring in younger ages.
We will have some drinks and snacks for purchase.
