MA COVID Guides for parents – August 24, 2021
Dear MA Families & Friends,
MA COVID-19 Parent Guides available
We know parents have had many questions about what to expect in September. Our Parent Guides are now available online and provide details on procedures, such as drop-off and pick-up times, Extended Hours programming, and illness at school.
ACTION REQUIRED: Please read through your guide(s) carefully. We do not require an attestation form to be signed by each family. It is assumed that families will review COVID-related information provided to them, and understand and adhere to any applicable safety procedures and policies.
We strongly believe that the children benefit from being in school among their friends and teachers. Thank you in advance for your cooperation in keeping our school community safe and healthy!
Where to find our COVID-19 information
You will find COVID-19 information in two places:
1. On the MA Parent Portal –

-

-
Online provincial school and child care screening tool for all families to use daily.
Please take the time to open and read the PDF version of the screening tool as the actions are different depending which question you say “Yes” to.
2. On our school website – https://montessori.on.ca/covid/
Please review – Health Unit decision-making process
The following image from the Middlesex-London Health Unit (available here as a PDF) details the decision-making process for parents.
