MA in The Londoner – Waste program

This past fall, officials at Montessori Academy London faced a trash problem at their main campus buildings on Waterloo and Piccadilly Streets.

Already pushing the boundaries of curbside pick up limits, the new three-container threshold that took effect in January was going to be nearly impossible to meet.

To make matters worse, “a lot of our waste increase was coming from our food program,” explained Tina Sartori, the private school’s admissions and development co-ordinator.
