MA seeks an Occupational TherapistMontessori Academy of London is looking to hire a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to work with our students requiring this service. We have recently developed a contract between MA and the Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) which enables more students to have access to services covered financially by the LHIN. We currently have a Speech & Language Pathologist working alongside the school to provide necessary speech therapy services. Essentially, our school covers the fees of the clinicians and the LHIN reimburses the school, taking the financial burden off of our families.
This could be a good opportunity for clinicians to provide more OT service during the school day. If you know of occupational therapists looking to work with school-age children during the school day (either in person or online if required by Covid guidelines), please have them contact Lisa Eastick for information: 519-433-9121 ext. 204.

Alumni NewsBravo to our Alumna Maggie Mac Neil for self-advocating instead of putting competition above her wellbeing and health. (By the way, when we talk about Montessori education supporting children as they develop skills for living and thriving, this is an example of what we mean!)
