Montessori Buzz – April 6, 2021
Beach Day is Friday!
The second Charitable Giving event, Beach Day, will occur on April 9, 2021. All students can dress in appropriate beach attire (no bathing suits) for an enjoyable “day under the sun”. We will be accepting any loonies or toonies for the Children’s Health Foundation programs. Through this Charitable Giving as a school, we are making a difference in the lives of children facing serious health issues. Our first event raised $1,929.00, which was split to support Ollie the Clown and Child Life. As a committee, we would love to see either the same amount raised this time, or go above and beyond to allow kids the opportunity to have these programs, transforming their health care experience. Remember every contribution counts!

- Spring Break is next week! The school will be closed, including the Main Office.
- The April PD Day on Friday, April 23, is cancelled – there will be school that day at all levels.

Westmount Casa Easter celebration
Easter lasted all week at Westmount Casa! The highlight was the egg hunt before play time. An “egg-cellent” time was had by all!

Earlier this week, Casa 1 started a new cultural study on birds. The children enjoyed learning about the different types of nests birds build. Pictured, is an intermediate student examining a cup made by a Robin!
