The MA-Zing Circus – 55th Anniversary Gala is Saturday!
This incredible Family Celebration sold out with over 320 people attending! This celebration is also our signature Fundraising event of the year as we fundraise to complete the renovation to our Library and other key areas in the Elementary building! Fundraising activities will include the sale of Mystery Bags, a Silent Auction and a special presentation… and paddle call by our very own Tina Sartori! Tonya sent an email to attendees around noon today with details.
Silent Auction Baskets
Thank you to all of the families who donated to the Silent Auction and to all the Parent Reps who organized this fantastic initiative! These amazing baskets will be available for Silent Auction at the Gala! You can take a sneak peak of all the baskets here: https://photos.app.goo.gl/pV99Dxo7Tmmf8XiA8
Mystery Bags will be on sale at the Gala for $50 each. No peeking! The Mystery Bag game ends when the Ringmaster makes an announcement to open the bags – all at the same time! The Grand Prize is this spectacular pearl necklace donated by Endo Jewelers! There are only 50 Mystery Bags for sale – make sure you pick one up when you arrive at the Gala. Each bag is a winner with prizes from Seychelles Swimwear, The Factory, Flying Squirrel, Yazdani Aesthetics, The London Club, Nash Jewellers and more!
Photos from the Week
Toddler 2 had a wonderful Valentine’s Day, we made fruit salad and had fun making flowers for our families! We have new work – juicing oranges! We love tasting the juice after and discovering if it is sweet or sour.
Senior students in Casa 3 are learning how to prepare hot chocolate for their friends. This allows them to practice spooning, pouring, following directions, and demonstrating kindness towards their peers. Everyone enjoys a warm beverage in the winter time!
Westmount Casa Carnaval
Quelle belle journée! Despite the warmer temperatures we had a blast with our Carnaval celebration. While we were busy building with ice blocks, we had a special guest arrive – Bonhomme! There were plenty of hugs to go around.
UE ALIVE Outdoors trip
Well, at least some students got to enjoy some snowy activities last week. The Years 4, 5, and 6 students had a great time with ALIVE Outdoors last week for the UE Winter Trip.
Find more photos from the trip in this ALIVE Google photo album.
Our MMUN (Montessori Model United Nations) delegates had an incredible experience in New York City that included working at the conference presenting on behalf of their nations, as well as a little sightseeing.
