Observation Week tips for parents…

Photo policy changes for 2018-2019 school year

We are updating our photography policy, which affects our re-enrolment process. We are no long distinguishing between web photos and print photos taken during the school year because most of our print material is made available as PDFs on our website. The online re-enrolment form will reflect this new option for families to complete:

[NEW] Photographs:  Throughout the year, photographs are taken of the students for classroom displays, parent and educational presentations, special events, marketing material, and our website.

YES/NO: I give permission for my child’s photograph to be taken and used for school purposes.

Yearbook photos: Students will have their photo taken by a professional photographer for our yearbook (individual and group photos), UNLESS parents specifically request that they do not participate. Please contact Victoria Little, Registrar, via, if you do not want your child to have his or her photo taken for the school yearbook.

Lost & Found: Helmet

A helmet was left behind after the Family Skate in December, and no one has claimed it. If this is your helmet, please contact the Front Desk.

FYI: other items that have been collected over the past few months at our Elementary location are in Lost & Found downstairs from the 711 Elementary back doors.

Waterloo Toddler activities

The students of Toddler One Waterloo are busy painting, matching objects to pictures, diapering, pouring into funnels, colouring with pencil crayons, whisking, transferring water with sponges, collaging with tape and glue, opening and closing wallets and cases as well as putting things in and taking them out.

Evie hair donation

In case you missed it on our Facebook page, Evie donated her hair last week! Doing good never looked so good. Thank you, Evie, for such a thoughtful gift.
