Photos from the week

Monday’s weather made for horrible driving, but was EXCELLENT for snow angel making!

Toddler student Liam is seen in this Instagram video pouring rice using a funnel. Look at his fine-motor skills developing with precision as he successfully empties the rice into the jar. 🙂

Polar Regions Study!

In Casa 1, the students recently learned that a group of penguins on land is called a … “waddle”! A few days this past week were cold enough for OUR little penguins!

Casa 2 also started the New Year studying polar regions. The weather on Monday made it easy to relate to freezing temperatures that people, plants and animals had to adapt to. We experimented with water, snow and ice, creating beautiful art and relaxing while doing penguin and polar bear yoga! Stay warm, everyone! Spring will be here before we know it. (fingers crossed emoji! LOL)

Hey Spencer: We felt it, too…

On Friday, Spencer pretty much summed up what we were all feeling. Yep…. ready to get off of Zoom and get back to in-person learning.

Anyone can use the code WG3QJ8 at checkout to get an additional $10 off.In the 90-minute live online session where participants will learn:

  • The exact red flags that may signal an unhealthy relationship is emerging
  • When to step in & how to do it so you don’t make it worse or embarrass them
  • When to let kids handle a situation on their own (and what tools and strategies to give them)
  • How to work with their teachers and school with confidence when you do need to intervene

Update on local COVID testing facilities

Please be aware that effective immediately, the Rapid Molecular Testing site at 105-460 Springbank Drive is no longer able to provide COVID-19 testing for school aged children. This is a result of two Provincial announcements: enhanced testing for schools to support in person learning (January 12, 2022) and updated eligibility for PCR testing (December 31, 2021).
