Staffing Update
We are excited to welcome Kristine Musgrove to our MA-zing teaching team to assist in our Upper Elementary music programs. Kristine has a Ph.D. in Music Education from Western, as well as a Master of Science in Music Education from Florida International University in Miami. Kristine brings to us her vast experience teaching band, as well as a specialty in Percussion. We look forward to her supporting our students as we transition back to our band program this fall and we roll into a musical year next September!
Gym Wear orders
For students in Elementary and Junior High, please complete this 2022-2023 Gym Wear Form and return to Tameka at tbrown@montessori.on.ca on or before June 24. Reminder: we now accept cash, cheque, MasterCard, Visa, Amex or Apple Pay.
Tameka will have samples set up in the office until Wednesday, June 22. If you need to see sizes, please come in to see her. Otherwise, you can gauge your child/ren’s sizes on the form.
Matching Gift Campaign
Help us continue giving the gift of education to future generations of learners!
Our Board of Governors has generously offered to match any donations made between now and June 24, up to a maximum of $6,000 combined. To celebrate the end of the school year, we are requesting you make a donation to our Endowment Fund, which offers a long-term benefit to the school’s Financial Support program. This year alone, the Financial Support program has helped 23 students continue their Montessori journey.

Year-end Celebrations in classes
Friendly reminder that instead of our usual Year End Celebration (as noted on the printed Year at a Glance Calendar on June 21) our classrooms will host their own celebrations for their students Moving Up into the next level of their Montessori program. Please refer to your classroom page in the MA Parent Portal for details.

After learning about butterfly metamorphosis and watching them hatch from their cocoons, Casa 2 was very excited to let them go on a beautiful Monday morning. Thank you to Crosby and Felicity’s family for donating this lovely experience to us.
Casa 3 racing day
The racing action was fierce at the Oxford Casa 3 Motor Speedway last week.
Lower Elementary LONG division
There’s some seriously LONG division happening in the Lower El 3 classroom. Asha added a page per day!!! She said “it takes forever to get from the bottom to the top!”
Family & Friends Event
More than 550 students, family members, and friends joined us at Storybook on Thursday for this MA-zing social. Thank you to the staff and faculty volunteers who supported this event.
