It’s SHOWTIME!
MA’s musical debuts tonight!

Dear MA Families & Friends,

TONIGHT & TOMORROW: Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka!

Last-minute tickets to our musical are available at the door — the box office is located down the hall from the theatre. Can’t make it tonight at 6:30 p.m.? You can also get tickets for Wednesday’s two showings at the door, by calling Wolf Performance Hall at 519.661.5120, or online through Eventbrite. (Please note, the Eventbrite service charge is about $3 per ticket versus about $1.50 per ticket via the box office.) Get all the details on our school website: https://montessori.on.ca/willy-wonka/

Getting there
Wolf Performance Hall is located across the hall from the Main floor of Central Public Library at 251 Dundas Street in Citi Plaza.

Parking at Wolf Performance Hall
Dundas Street from Wellington to Richmond is closed for construction until November. Follow this link to find nearby parking and prices: https://www.parkme.com/london-on-parking/wolf-performance-hall-n848824522

There is also metered street parking along Clarence and King Street.

Concessions for sale – cash only!
Keeping with the theme of our musical, “Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka,” we will sell sweet treats to help raise further funds for our Junior High kitchen renovations and improvements.

  • Gold-wrapped locally made milk chocolate bars – $3
  • Wonka candy grab bags – $2
  • Water – $1

These will be available at all three performances and we will accept cash-only as payment.

Feeling lucky? A golden ticket is hidden inside one of the candy grab bags at each performance. The holder of each golden ticket will win some sweet MA swag

(Please note: Our Montessori Academy Golden Willy Wonka bars contain no tree nuts, but are processed in the same facility as products that contain tree nuts. The facility is cleaned between processes, but as with any packaged food, we cannot guarantee that there will be no cross-contamination.)

Thank you to our MA-zing musical helpers behind the scenes!

Over the past few weeks, our Art Room has become Wonka Central while sets and props have been created for our upcoming musical. The creative hands that have assisted Jenn to get this show looking great visually have ranged from students, teachers, and even parent volunteers! We are so grateful for the community we have.

Friendly reminder: No photos or videos, please
Please sit back and enjoy the show. We’ve hired a professional photographer and a videographer to capture the musical, so you don’t have to; we will make those photos and the video available to families in a few weeks! Stay tuned to the Buzz!

Thank you in advance for understanding and adhering to this request.

Job posting: Elementary French Teacher (Grades 1-6)

Veranika, our Elementary French teacher, has shared with us that she will be moving on at the end of the school year. We have enjoyed the four years Veranika has been at our school; we will miss the passion she exudes for French and has shared with our students and staff. We wish her all the best with her future endeavours.

We have posted this opportunity via our school website and our social media accounts. The posting is also available on several local job boards and hiring sites. If anyone is aware of a qualified person who might be interested in this opportunity, please feel free to share the postings. Thanks!

MA Bike Scavenger Hunt Challenge – Only a few spots left!
