Staffing update
Alaina Foster, our Westmount Toddler Teacher/Site Supervisor, and her husband, Dan, have recently purchased a home outside of London, and will be moving in the New Year. For personal reasons, and to focus on her family, Alaina has made the decision to step away from her role at MA.
Alaina has worked at MA for 7 years both in our Toddler and Casa programs. She also worked a number of summers at our Toddler and Casa camps as both an Assistant Director and Director. With the love she has developed for MA over these years, this decision was not made lightly.
Alaina is very grateful for and appreciative of her time spent here, and will move forward holding onto fond memories of her students, families and colleagues.
While we are so sad to see Alaina leave the MA family, we are thankful for the love and care she has provided our students over the years.
Please join us in wishing Alaina and Dan good luck in their next chapter!

We have two MA-zing opportunities at our school in our licensed programs.

1000 Acts of Kindness updates…
Cards for seniors
Lower El student Freddie created handwritten cards to give to seniors at a retirement home, for his 1000 Acts of Kindness activity.
Stella’s Food Bank donation of birthday bags
“Birthdays are special, and so to help families celebrate, I made birthday bags for the Food Bank. It made me sad to think about a child without a birthday celebration.”
Friendship bracelets!
Spencer from LE2, spent the night making bracelets for his classmates!
Photos from the week
Casa 1 sunflower in the park
Casa 1 was so happy for the beautiful Fall Day last week that we created a sunflower at the park with our bodies!
Casa 3 music lesson
For music this week, we learned about the snake charmers of Pakistan and India. The students got to make their very own “pungi” and practiced their skills charming a snake!
Remembrance Day poppy art
The Year Twos have been working hard in the art room on their coffee-filter poppies. We’re getting ready for Remembrance Day.
Upper El 1 Garden Village
Every evening during dismissal our creative UE1 crew are busy working on a miniature garden village. There are always new developments, such as lean-to structures, fire pits and our most recent addition is a protective forest wall. These lovelies use only fallen branches, leaves and sticks to create their vision. Not a single tree was harmed in the making!
Junior High – CHF Charitable Giving meeting Monday
Junior High’s meeting with Children’s Health Foundation happened Monday morning… Our students met with Jennifer Baxter to decide on where our charitable giving donations are going to this year. COVID IS NOT STOPPING US!
