New public health guidance
Due to recent increases in COVID-19 case numbers, the MLHU is strongly advising all residents of the Middlesex-London area to:
- Limit close contacts to your household.
- Wear a mask when you: leave the house, go to a store, interact with colleagues including in the breakroom. Masks are now required in all public indoor spaces in Ontario, including businesses, facilities and workplaces.
- Avoid non-essential travel, especially to COVID-19 hot spots including Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, and Quebec City.

What’s new on the portal
Snack and Lunch Menus
Toddler/Casa and Elementary lunch menus can now be found in the Resources section of the MA Parent Portal. We will continue to publish these menus throughout the year before the first of each month.
Monthly classroom letters
We will move classroom letters to the portal starting in November! You will receive an email from your classroom Parent Representative when the letters and calendars are ready on your child’s Classroom Bulletin Board.
Junior High will continue to post their updated information through their website: https://sites.google.com/montessori.on.ca/jrhigh/home
Photos from the Week
Toddler mini-pumpkin decorating!
This week, the Westmount Toddlers each had a turn to choose their own pumpkin, spread glue, and shake sparkles to create a beautiful centrepiece for their Thanksgiving Dinner tables!

Casa 1 activities – turkeys, gym and kindness tree!
Our Kindness tree is in bloom…and we expect to have many more leaves added as our students share kind and thoughtful acts amongst themselves and their families. Our first trip to the gym was a great success! Thanks to Dave for keeping these tiny bodies active and healthy! Our students enjoyed creating mosaic turkeys to celebrate the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. We hope everyone enjoyed the extra time with family.

Year 1 Art
Our Year Ones have been exploring the element of lines this week in Art and now realize monsters don’t have to be scary.

Upper El Milkmen
Our Elementary milk program is up and running! These Upper Elementary students are so excited to safely deliver milk to elementary classrooms across the school. If you look at their eyes you can see that these milkmen are grinning behind their masks!
