Picture Day is tomorrow – Elementary & Junior HighElementary and Junior High students will have their photos taken Wednesday. Toddler & Casa students will have their photos taken in October.
MA Outdoor Family Movie Night!Back by popular demand! We will be hosting an outdoor family movie night for Casa through to Junior High in our Elementary courtyard on Thursday, October 6. This is the night before the P.D. Day since it may be a later night than usual! Families will need to dress for the weather, bring lawn chairs and blankets. There will be snacks and drinks available for purchase! You will be able to access the school for washrooms.
Capacity is limited, so you must register all those who are planning to attend. We look forward to seeing you under the stars!

Choirs start later this year, new timeChoirs start the week of September 26; Junior and Senior choirs will take place during lunch playtime.
Watch for a letter with more details that will be sent home via Parent Reps.
Volunteers wanted: Gala planning committeeWe are hosting a Family Gala on Saturday, February 25, 2023, to celebrate Montessori Academy of London’s 55th Anniversary! Tonya is looking for parent volunteers to be part of the Gala Planning Committee as well as the Sponsorship Committee. PhotosToddler truck excitementPart of Montessori is following the children… well, last week, a few of the Toddler children saw a big truck across the street from their classroom, so we followed them outside to see it a little closer!!!

FYI: Orange Shirt DaySeptember 30 is The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, or “Orange Shirt Day.” Check out https://london.ca/national-day-truth-reconciliation to learn about the events happening in London in recognition of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.
At school, the children and staff are encouraged to wear orange; classrooms will be commemorating the day with age-appropriate lessons and discussions.
Bug Day at Children’s Museum!London Bug Day, on September 24, is a free event held at the London Children’s Museum designed to educate the public about insects, and other arthropods, and familiarize them with these important animals. The event will feature cockroach races, a live insect zoo, crafts, face painting, and a monarch release at the end of the day. (Plus, MA is a supporter!)
