Provincial Order – School Closures
| Dear MA Families & Friends, We have continued to follow the updates from health authorities pertaining to COVID-19, as well as being committed to provincial and federal recommendations and guidelines during this time. We are aware of the provincial order to close schools from March 14 to April 5; Montessori Academy of London will be closed as well. We understand the stress this may put on families, especially with the timing of our own March Break. Since the school was already set to be closed next week, we will need time to organize our staff and put a plan into place to support students and parents during this upcoming closure. Thankfully, due to our length of school day, our students already benefit from an additional 10 days of learning in a typical school year. With this closure, it puts us back in line with the normal amount of school days recommended by the Ministry. The delivery of our curriculum, within a three-year time span for most levels, allows us some flexibility in how it is delivered. Stay tuned as we will send another update by Wednesday, March 25. At this time, we should also have details to share regarding the Junior High Quebec Trip. Thank-you for your support and patience as we navigate the coming weeks together.
