Fundraising update: Thank YOU

We have broken records this year in fundraising for the school, thanks to YOU! ALL of the events, your donations and grants received, raised over $200,000 this year for important upgrades and renovations to the school!
Some quick highlights…
  • MA-Zing Circus raised $35,000 in total with the Silent Auction, Mystery Bag game and Donations at the event for the library renovation happening this summer.
  • Gala Sponsorship raised over $20,000 to offset the costs of the MA-Zing Circus.
  • Our Annual Halloween Boo-Ling event had the best turnout yet and raised over $5,000 for the Library Project.
  • Musical Sponsorship raised $3,250 to offset the costs of the production.
  • Canada’s Enabling Accessibility Fund granted us $100,000 to make Oxford St. an accessible location in the next two years – stay tuned for news about this project!
As a registered charity and non-profit organization, any profit made is always re-invested into the school.  When it comes to our special projects – like this summer’s Library renovation, we rely on community support in donations to help make improvements to our programs and buildings. These enormous projects are only made possible by your donations, thank you. The Elementary building and Library renovation happening this summer is a direct result of your donations. We look forward to sharing the progress of the renovations over the summer!
We cannot thank you enough for your dedication and investment in Montessori Academy of London. Have a wonderful summer!

Junior High Legacy Gift

As a part of this year’s Grade 8 Legacy Gift, Junior High purchased blank canvases with the intention of having students leave behind a piece of art each year that is meaningful to the JH community.
Emily lent her incredible talent to the legacy gift with this beautiful contribution. The piece will hang in our community room as a reminder for future classes to Stay Gold. (From the novel “The Outsiders.”) Thank you Emily, and thank you 2023 Grad families!
