Join us for an
and Tour of our school!
Montessori Academy offers something unique in the London area: traditional, accredited Montessori education for toddler, preschool, Elementary and Junior High students. Since 1968, our mission has been to provide a world-class education that promotes academic excellence, and prepares students to engage the world as active citizens and successful leaders.
As a registered charity with non-profit status (Charitable Registration #1052 29124 RR0001), we’re committed to continuously re-investing in our school for the benefit of our children, families and greater community.
For the school’s 50th anniversary, Junior High teacher Shawn Butler was tasked with creating a video that encompasses what our school believes fundamentally – and shows the world what we believe education can and should provide our children. The results of his efforts…?

We acknowledge that we are situated on the traditional territories of the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee, Lunaapeewak and Attawandaron Nations. The Peoples of these respective Nations have longstanding relationships to the lands of southwestern Ontario and the City of London.
Further, we convey that we value and have deep appreciation for the significant historical and contemporary contributions of local and regional First Nations and all of the Original peoples of Turtle Island (North America).
We truly believe a Montessori education provides children the “best start in life” by putting the child first. Every aspect of the curriculum has been developed to serve the needs of our students.
Because Montessori is so different from conventional education, we invite you to an Information Session & Tour as the first step in our Admissions Process. In this session you’ll not only see how different our classrooms look and feel, but you’ll gain a better understanding of the Montessori approach to education and how it benefits each child.
Montessori is child-centric education designed to help children reach their fullest potential – at their own pace. Its real-world approach inspires a love of learning and readies students to study, work and live successfully in the 21st century.
At each level of our programs, students are provided guidance by highly trained educators whose goal is to observe and “follow the child” on his or her journey.
Montessori Academy offers a continuum of traditional Montessori programs for toddler, preschool, Elementary and Junior High students that are enhanced by specialty programs in Art, Physical Education, French and Music. Extracurricular programs such as Athletics, Community Involvement and Montessori Model United Nations provide our students even more opportunities for social, physical and intellectual development.
As an independently funded school with not-for-profit charity status, we rely on the gifts of our families, friends and community partners. Whether you volunteer at a school event, share your expertise in the classroom or participate in our Annual Appeal, each gift supports something unique in London: traditional Montessori education. We are grateful for each and every gift, no matter what size it is or shape it comes in.
