Our pre-school aged Casa classes at all of MA’s locations united last year to collect donations for Merrymount Family Support and Crisis Centre. The Montessori approach to education is all-encompassing. Maria Montessori wrote, “Education should not limit itself to seeking new methods for a mostly arid transmission of knowledge: its aim must be to give the necessary aid to human development.” The goal is that even the youngest Casa child will learn that a small donation/act of kindness can help a family in need.
