Montessori Buzz – March 31, 2026
Dear MA Families and Friends,
Good Friday and Easter Monday
The school is closed for the Good Friday and Easter Monday holidays. Enjoy your long weekend!
Grandparents’ & Special Friends’ Day postcards
Last week, each family received two postcards to share with family members and friends who might like to join us on Friday, May 29, for our annual Grandparents’ & Special Friends’ Day. This day is a meaningful one for our community, with each classroom hosting their own activities. In the coming weeks, we’ll share classroom letters with more details about Grandparents’ & Special Friends’ Day, including a sign-up link for your very special guests.

Photos from the Week
Waterloo Casa Ramadan lesson
A big thank you to MA mom (and teacher!) Haya for coming into our classroom to teach us all about Eid. We loved learning a few Arabic words, listening to your story, and trying kaak cookies for the first time. They were delicious!! We just love when we have special guests visit our classroom.

Casa Spring Activity
Labelling the parts of a flower in Casa has us hoping for warmer days!

Special Visit to Lower El
Last week, our Casa students were invited to visit with a Lower Elementary classroom. The big kids shared the plants they have been germinating and planting!

A letter from ‘Canada’s Team’
Right after the World Series, Lower El 3 wrote to the Toronto Blue Jays to congratulate them on a truly amazing season! In December, they wrote back… and in mid-February, their letter arrived at our school. We shared it on Friday to wish the Jays luck as they start this season.
