Friday is the last day of school!
Congratulations on another MA-zing school year! We hope everyone has a fantastic summer!
Summer Hours
Summer office hours start Monday, June 29; the office will be open Monday-Friday 8:15am-12pm. The office will be closed the week of July 6-10, and on July 1 and Aug. 3 for the Canada Day and Civic holidays.
This is the last Buzz of the 2025-2026 school year
There is a ton of fun going on at the school, so keep an eye on our Instagram and Facebook pages for all the year-end fun and activities. During the summer, we hope to keep communication to a minimum. However, watch for our annual August Information Buzz soon after the Civic Holiday; this is an important Buzz because it has all of the information you need for a smooth start to the new school year.

Happy Father’s Day
We wish all our dads, grandpas, uncles, and father figures a very happy day on Sunday. Thank you for all of the love and care you provide our children.
Final reminders
1. Elementary and JH Gym Wear orders now due
For students in Elementary and Junior High, please complete the Montessori Academy Gym Wear Flyer (PDF), and return it to Tameka at tbrown@montessori.on.ca before the last day of school. Sample sizes are available in the office.
Payment: we accept cash, cheque, MasterCard, Visa, Amex, Apple Pay, or etransfer to payments@montessori.on.ca (note Gym Wear and students’ names in the memo).
2. Extended Hours registration
Annual registration for the Early & Extended Hours program is due by June 30; payment is due September 1. Monthly registrations and payment are due no later than the 15th of the previous month (ie. Register for September by August 15). We cannot guarantee availability of space if registration is not received on time. Register online: https://montessoriacademy.campbrainregistration.com/
3. Return team jerseys
We ask our athletes to return their jerseys to school before Friday. Thanks for a great year!

Montessori Model United Nations (MMUN) 2027
Attention all upcoming Year 6, 7 and 8 students interested in participating in next year’s MMUN program!! We are thrilled to share some exciting news: we are heading to Rome, Italy, the birthplace of Maria Montessori!
The exact dates and length of stay are still being finalized, but the trip is expected to take place sometime between April 21 and May 2, 2027. This promises to be an unforgettable opportunity to engage in international dialogue, develop leadership skills, and experience the rich history and culture of Rome.
More details will be shared as they become available. We look forward to having you join us on this exciting journey!

Moving Up and Phasing In
Around the school, our “senior” students in each level are getting ready for the next chapter. We’ve hosted Moving Up celebrations and new classrooms have hosted their new students. Congratulations to everyone on an MA-zing year!

Our Grade 8 students gathered at Palasad North on Friday to celebrate the end of their time at our school. Good luck in high school!!
UE 1: Be free, pollinators!
Did you catch our video on social media? For the last 2 weeks we have been waiting patiently for 5 caterpillars to undergo metamorphosis. And on Monday we released 5 beautiful Painted Lady butterflies into our yard! Happy pollinating!
