Accreditation
Our programs were observed by a Montessori Canada accrediting team last week! We thank them for joining us over the two days, and are so grateful to our teachers who spend time and energy preparing for accreditation. Not to mention, our Junior High students did a spectacular job representing our school while hosting our visitors.
Accreditation is important because it helps to establish consistent standards and preserve the Montessori philosophy of education. Each Montessori Canada school is re-accredited every five years to ensure it provides the highest-quality Montessori education available in the country.
We are the only accredited Montessori school in London, and, several of our teachers serve as accreditors for other Montessori Canada schools!

Family & Friends event on June 5
We are so excited for our annual year-end event at Storybook Gardens on Thursday, June 5. Unfortunately, there’s been a change in plans for the food at the event — we’ve been told that there will not be food trucks. However, Storybook will have hot dogs and pizza for sale in the Village Square. If you want to avoid the lines for food, you can pack a picnic meal to have during the event.
Photos from the week
Waterloo Toddler
Toddler teachers Amanda and Sonal recently visited a beautiful tulip farm and were inspired by the vibrant colours and natural beauty. They brought back photos, stories, and fresh tulips to share with the children, who were thrilled to explore and enjoy the experience!

Westmount Toddler flowers
Arranging fresh flowers for our tables is quintessential Montessori practical life in Toddler. It walks the children through multiple steps – organizing the vase, pouring the water, inserting the flowers and setting them on the table. It also reflects care for the environment.

Casa 1’s big projects
The look of hard work and the happiness it brings. This time of year, it is not uncommon for students to tackle big work. They’re not afraid to start a large, detailed activity, knowing that completion may take some time. The persistence and focus this big work inspires will serve them throughout life.

Waterloo Casa beautiful material
More big work is happening in Casa! Look at this beautiful sensorial material the children get to work with. The colour wheel with globe and the decanomial square.

UE math
Montessori math alert! Our Year 4 students are working with decimals!
