Dear MA Families and Friends,

Re-enrolment deadline is Friday

The deadline to complete re-enrolment forms for 2026-2027 is this Friday.

Monday is the Family Day holiday 

The school will be closed on Monday, Feb. 16, for the Family Day Holiday. Whether it’s filled with tons of activity or plenty of rest, we hope everyone enjoys the long weekend!

Blaze the Trail Update

We are ALMOST at 50% with 5 months to go! We still need to raise $31,000 by June 30th in order to make our new gym a reality!  Donate today at Montessori.on.ca/blaze-the-trail

‘Prescription: Murder’: Starring two MA staff members!

Montessori Academy’s very own Finance Director, David Pasquino, is producing and starring in “Prescription: Murder,” running at the Grand Theatre’s Auburn Stage from March 19–29. David takes on the role of the iconic Lt. Columbo, joined onstage by our favourite Administrative Assistant – Tameka Brown, who stars as Miss Petrie!

“Prescription: Murder” introduces audiences to Lt. Columbo in the play that later became the basis for the hit TV pilot starring Peter Falk. The production is recommended for ages 13+. Get your tickets online: https://tickets.grandtheatre.com/overview/11798

FYI: Summer Swim Lessons in Northwest London

Fins and Fun, taught by a former MA student, is registering private and semi-private swim lessons this summer in Northwest London. For children ages 2+!  finsandfun.wordpress.com

Snow angels

After too many days inside, the weather finally cooperated last week, and our Waterloo Toddlers spent time outside making snow angels!

Shamrocks & Smiles

There were leprechauns, shamrocks and smiles at Waterloo Casa’s parent social last week. What a fun way to wrap up our study of Ireland. Thank you to all the wonderful parents for joining in the shenanigans!

On Thursday, the MMUN team presented everything they’ve been working on since the beginning of the year. They’ll soon head to New York to take part in the Montessori Model UN Conference.
