Fundraising Update

We’re So Close! Let’s Finish This Together and Blaze the Trail

As a school community, we believe in creating environments where children can move, explore, and grow with confidence. Thanks to your generosity, we are now 75% of the way to making our new gym floor a reality.

With just a few weeks left, we have $15,000 to go.

Every contribution—no matter the size—helps create a space where our students can develop coordination, resilience, and a lifelong love of movement. Together, we can reach our goal.

Theremometer image noting that we've raised 75% of our goal; images of students using the gym overlay the thermometer. The words "We're so close!" are written across the centre of the image.

Here’s the power of collective giving:

  • 300 families giving $50
  • 150 families giving $100
  • 60 gifts of $250
  • 15 leadership gifts of $1,000
  • or one transformational gift of $15,000

At Montessori Academy, we often talk about small steps leading to big growth. This is one of those moments. Donate today! Montessori.on.ca/blaze-the-trail

Photos from the Week

The Silence Game

The Montessori Silence Game is an important exercise that helps children develop self-control, self-regulation, reflection, and environmental awareness. Through stillness and quiet observation, children learn to become more aware of their bodies, movements, sounds, and the space around them. The activity encourages concentration, inner calm, listening skills, and respect for others in the environment. It also supports emotional regulation by helping children practise pausing, controlling impulses, and finding peace within themselves.

The Stamp Game

The Montessori materials are designed with the students in mind. The Stamp Game allows Casa students to complete complex operations using the tiles to represent thousands, hundreds, tens and units.

Very special guest in LE1

LE1 welcomed the Queen of Egypt, Cleopatra, into their classroom last week. We love it when royalty stops by to visit.

A day at the museum!

On Friday, our Lower El students ventured to the London Children’s Museum for a fun-tastic day of discovery and learning!
