Blaze the Trail Campaign Update

We’re Moving Forward — Thanks to You!

While our fundraising total hasn’t changed since our last update, behind the scenes, we’re making great progress! We continue to submit grant applications, and we’re even closer to finalizing our flooring partner — an exciting step that brings this project closer to reality.

As we move into the next phase, your support is more important than ever.

If you’re able, please consider making a donation today — or share the campaign with someone who might be inspired to give.

Together, we can make this happen! Montessori.on.ca/blaze-the-trail

A friendly reminder that our Junior High babysitters are available to care for their younger peers on PD Days. Please contact the Front Desk for the list.

Toddler practical life activities

An “interesting piece of work, freely chosen, which has the virtue of inducing concentration rather than fatigue, adds to the child’s energies and mental capacities, and leads him to self-mastery.” ~ Dr. Maria Montessori

Montessori math material in LE

The Stamp Game is a favourite in Elementary classrooms! It bridges the gap between hands-on math and abstract thinking, allowing students to practise addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with colour-coded “stamps” representing units, tens, hundreds, and thousands. While Montessori racks and tubes help Elementary students explore long division in a hands-on way. By physically moving beads and tubes, children see the process unfold step by step—building a deep understanding of place value and division.
