Family & Friends Celebration is June 4
Join us at Storybook Gardens on Thursday, June 4, between 4-7 pm to celebrate another MA-zing school year. Food will be for sale in the Courtyard, and there will be the DC Food Truck on site – or you may bring a picnic meal to enjoy.
There will be no After-School extended hours on June 4 so that all of our staff can attend the event.
FYI: The rain date for this event will be Tuesday, June 9. If we need to postpone the event, we’ll share a push notification and Notice via the MA Parent app.
Watch this! Our JH Costa Rica trip video
Last month a group of Junior High students ventured into the Children’s Eternal Rainforest in Costa Rica for a trip of a lifetime. But this was no vacation. This was an educational experience hosted by our good friends at ALIVE Outdoors.
And we’re not done – we have another trip planned! We’ll announce the next ALIVE trip on Monday, June 1.

Last call: Find our Minion a home!
Our adorable Minion Muskoka Chair is looking for a home. He’s super supportive and will happily hold your cold beverage on those relaxing summer nights on your patio. Blaze the Trail Campaign: We’re almost there!
With just days to go until June 30, our Blaze the Trail campaign is nearing the finish line. Help us reach our goal of a new gym floor in time for the last day of school on Friday, June 19! With your support, construction can begin over the summer—so our students return in September to a brand-new gym space ready for the year ahead.

Gym Wear orders for 2026-2027
For students in Elementary and Junior High, please complete the Montessori Academy Gym Wear Flyer (PDF), and return it to Tameka at tbrown@montessori.on.ca on or before June 19.
Payment: cash, cheque, MasterCard, Visa, Amex, Apple Pay, or etransfer to payments@montessori.on.ca (note Gym Wear and students’ names in the memo).

Oh, the sweetness! Our spring Parent & Child session is in full swing, and our littlest students are learning, discovering and growing more each time we see them! Exciting news for the program – we’re adding Tuesday sessions in October. Find all the information on our Parent & Child Program page of our website; registration for October sessions will open later in the summer.
LE2 Buttercreme field trip
The students in Lower Elementary 2 took a walking field trip to Buttercreme last week. What a tasty way to end the week.
