Montessori Buzz – Nov. 11, 2025

Dear MA Families and Friends,

We’re sharing the Buzz early this week because of today’s Elementary and Junior High Remembrance Day Assembly.

Elem/JH Parents – If you haven’t already, please see the reminder and parking map under Notices for details about today’s event. Don’t forget to inform your child’s teacher when you leave the assembly.

Reminders

Friday is a PD Day

There is no school for our students on Friday because of the PD Day.

Parking at our downtown locations

We’ve received some feedback from our neighbours recently. Please ensure you’re following the rules of the road and adhering to the No Parking signs near our downtown locations. Do not block or turn around in our neighbours’ driveways. Thank you for making drop-off and pick-up safe for everyone.

PJ Day is Friday, Nov. 21

Our Junior High students are leading a cozy initiative: Pajama Day! As part of Montessori’s Charitable Giving, the event will support ChildCan, a non-profit that helps children and families affected by childhood cancer. ChildCan offers meaningful assistance, such as parking passes, comfort items, and reminders that no child faces cancer alone. On PJ Day, the Junior High students will collect loose change donations to help fund this important work.

Our annual night out of the ice is back! Plan to join us on Thursday, Jan. 29, between 7:30-9 p.m. for this FREE event that takes place at Storybook’s beautiful skate trail! We’ll share more details in the New Year.
