Photo retakes are Friday
On Friday, please arrive at the Main Office (719 Waterloo) between 8:50-9 a.m. Photos will be taken on a first come, first served basis. Those who signed up will receive priority. A few reminders about Photo Retakes on Friday:
- Parents MUST accompany their child(ren) for the retakes, as teachers cannot leave their classrooms.
- Parents MUST ensure that their child(ren) are taken to their buildings after their photo is taken.
Trusted Snack fundraiser order deadline is Wednesday

Save the Date: Our next Lunch and Learn is Thursday, Nov. 27
We had such great feedback from the parents who attended last week’s Lunch and Learn, so we’re excited to say: Mark your calendars for Thursday, Nov. 27! Hillary Hartwig from Innerworks Counselling will join us for another Lunch and Learn session: ‘Supporting Children through their Anxious Emotions.’ Watch for details and a link to register and order lunch in next week’s Buzz!

Kindness appreciated in the community
1000 Acts of Kindness month is off to a wonderful start – our community partners are truly grateful for the efforts to raise donations for them. We thank all of the families who are generously supporting each classroom’s initiatives. These charitable giving activities are both meaningful and educational, and help the students develop a sense of responsibility and appreciation.
Circle R Visits
The Casa classrooms have been taking turns visiting our good friends at Circle R Ranch over the past week. What a beautiful experiential learning opportunity!
Cross Country meet
What a perfect fall day for our cross-country meet at Springbank Park. Our Upper Elementary and Junior High students had many top 10 finishes. Well done Trailblazers!
