Maggie Visits Junior High

Our favourite Olympian Maggie MacNeil dropped by Junior High to share her experience about participating in Canada Reads. Utilizing important seminar skills that we emphasize in Junior High. A key challenge she left with the students was to work on disagreeing respectfully. An individual’s experiences heavily shape their views and this is an essential part of having a well-rounded, meaningful discussion.
