Beach Day / Jersey Day is March 7

This year, on Friday, March 7 (corrected date!), it is going to be Beach Day for our Casa and Elementary programs, and Jersey Day for our Junior High program. Students can wear either a jersey or beach-themed outfits to school. Students are encouraged to bring loose change to support CHF (Children’s Health Foundation). CHF is a program that helps young people in the hospital to feel more comfortable. Junior high is meeting with Maysee McLean, who is a community contact associate at CHF, to figure out what department the profits will be going to in the Children’s Health Foundation. Donating loose change to CHF is helping children feel free and secure while they are in the hospital.

50/50 Raffle Tickets are on Sale NOW!
Tickets are $10 each and are on sale at the Administrative Office at 719 Waterloo St. The draw will be at the Winter Family Fun Fest at 1:50pm. You do not need to be there to win! Tickets will also be on sale at the Winter Family Fun Fest before the draw.
Our Raffle proceeds support our ongoing technology needs throughout the school.
Please feel free to sell them to family, friends, and neighbors! Must be 18 years old or older to purchase tickets.

For those planning vacations, we’ve set our PD Days and Breaks for the 2025-2026 school year. The rest of the school’s calendar will be finalized closer to July.
- Sept 2 – First day of school
- Oct 10 PD Day – aligns with TVDSB
- Nov 14 PD Day – aligns with TVDSB
- Winter Break – weeks of Dec 22 and 29
- Feb 6 PD Day
- March Break – weeks of March 9 and March 16 (Week 2 aligns with TVDSB)
- April 17 PD Day
- May 15 PD Day
- June 19 – Last day of school

Casa 3’s Egypt Lesson
Special thanks to some very important guests who visited Casa 3 this afternoon. Cleopatra and her assistant Ramses presented a wonderful lesson about Egypt complete with beautiful artifacts and delicious figs for snacks. Thank you so much! We had so much fun!
