Community Match Campaign update
Only 2 Weeks left to make our Community Match Goal! Will You Rise to the Challenge?
Thank you to everyone who has donated to the Community Match Campaign so far! Our dedicated Board of Governors have raised $7,000 for our school and has put forth a challenge to our community to match their generosity by May 31, 2024. As of this morning, we are at 51% of the Community Match Goal.
This year’s campaign is supporting the “workaday” updates needed to prepare our environments for students in September. These updates are far from flashy (Hello, new Library!), but they are a huge part of creating the beautifully prepared environment that is so quintessential to Montessori education.
If you have not donated yet please consider rising to the challenge! Donate online today www.montessori.on.ca/donate.

Grandparents’ & Special Friends’ Day is Friday!
We can’t wait to see our grandparents and special friends this week.
Our Artisan Market is Friday, May 31
Join us and 24 local vendors for a community Artisan Market! Come by right after dismissal. The Market is open from 3-7:30 pm. We’ll have handmade items, food, coffee, a used book sale, plant sale, glitter tattoos and more! For a list of vendors visit: www.montessori.on.ca/artisan-market/ We’re kindly asking for a $2 suggested donation at the door.
Do you know someone who’d like to join our board?
Our Board of Governors seeks one new community member — someone who is not affiliated with the school. If anyone in your networks has board experience and is looking for a volunteer opportunity … and wants to support world-class Montessori education, please forward our posting to them: https://montessori.on.ca/board-opportunity-community-member/

Toddler practical life skills
In our Toddler classroom, practical life lessons included making a snack for our friends.
Spring cleaning in UE1
Some of the Upper El students spent time spring cleaning and organizing. And, unfortunately, no, they don’t make house calls… we asked.

UE geometry class activity
Our creative students will use what they have to support their learning, even if it means flipping a table on its side. Geometry lesson last week = measuring the circumference of a circle.
