Casa 4 Peace Day
What a wonderful first month of school we have had. We ended September by talking about the many ways we demonstrate peace in our world and within the classroom community. Friday we enjoyed coming together with 311 Oxford Street to sing “Light A Candle For Peace” for Peace Day.
Lower El 1 gifting pens
Victoria generously brought in breast cancer awareness pens last week in preparation for Monday’s Terry Fox Run in Piccadilly park. She brought in enough for all of Elementary and the Admin team!
Peer Peacekeepers
On Friday, our Year 6 students finished their peer peacekeeping training, learning the difference between leaders and bosses, and then they took part in the cooperative egg drop challenge.

Practical Life Skills activities don’t stop in Elementary. Our Junior High students hit the grocery store this week to purchase food and supplies for their community lunch program.
